| austriamicrosystems’
business unit Full Service Foundry announced
today the exhibition at the 2005 FSA Suppliers
Expo Europe at the Mermaid Conference and
Events Centre in London, England. The Expo
is held in conjunction with the IEE/FSA
International Semiconductor Executive Forum.
The 2005 FSA Suppliers Expo Europe provides
an opportunity for European semiconductor
professionals to attend a complimentary
exhibition featuring industry suppliers
from around the globe to explore their latest,
most innovative products and services. The
event brings together professionals in an
effort to cultivate and further business
partnerships globally.
"The FSA Supplier Expo has established
itself as the premier event in the fabless
world especially in North America. We are
pleased about the European event which enables
us to offer our foundry services to a range
of local fabless companies and IDM’s
in the analog, mixed signal and RF area
in an exhibition," stated Peter Gasteiner,
Senior Vice President and General Manger
of austriamicrosystems'
business unit Full Service Foundry.
austriamicrosystems,
as a leading supplier to fabless companies,
has further expanded its technology portfolio
with advanced High Voltage CMOS processes.
Based on the proven 0.35 µm mixed-signal
CMOS process, licensed from TSMC (Taiwan
Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), there
is now a 20V and a 50V process available
for mass production in austriamicrosystems’
200mm production line. These processes are
ideally suited for power management products,
display drivers and automotive and industrial
applications.
With the announcement of these leading
edge processes austriamicrosystems
also provides the appropriate mixed-signal
high voltage design environment, known as
HIT-Kit, for these new 0.35 µm HV
processes. The easy to use HIT-Kit includes
fully characterized analog and HV simulation
models, extraction and verification run
sets, qualified digital and analog libraries,
device generators and many more to give
customers a tool set which increases the
chances drastically of performing first
time right design.
