austriamicrosystems (SWX: AMS), a leading global designer and manufacturer of high performance analog ICs for communications, industrial, medical and automotive applications, has received confirmation from the management committee of the SWX, the Swiss Stock Exchange, that the company will be included in the Swiss Performance Index (SPI®) effective May 6, 2008.
The SPI® will be open to foreign domiciled companies that have a primary listing on SWX as of May 1, 2008. austriamicrosystems’ weight in the index will be determined based on the free float of austriamicrosystems’ stock, which according to SPI® Family Index Rules is 100%.
