Silicon Foundry of the Year 2003
The quality of our services is well recognized in the foundry business. austriamicrosystems was voted into the top10 in the category "best foundry vendor 2003". The readers of Silicon Strategies were asked to vote for the "best" foundry vendor of 2003, based on company performance and other criteria. As the only European foundry, austriamicrosystems was placed ninth in the readers poll. Here are the final rankings based on Silicon Strategies.

Future Horizons is asking amongst all European design houses for the most popular foundry. In 2002 austriamicrosystems was number one foundry for BiCMOS and SiGe technologies and number two for CMOS processes, right behind our technology partner.
