Process Specific Device Modeling
austriamicrosystems supports device modeling of additional process specific devices such as lateral transistors, vertical transistors, and well resistors.
The process specific devices are part of the standard SPICE model libraries and can be downloaded for a wide range of analog circuit simulators (Spectre, ELDO, HSPICE, ADS, SMARTSPICE, SABER, PSPICE and SMASH) from the download area of our technical web-server.
The following device models are supported for a wide range of process platforms:
- Gated Lateral PNP transistors (temperature and noise)
- Vertical PNP transistors (temperature and noise)
- Nwell resistors (nonlinear resistance, temperature)
- Diffusion resistors (nonlinear resistance, temperature)
All models are fully characterized for their DC and transient characteristics. Process corner models (worst case/best case models) are provided as part of our standard simulation libraries.
