AS3940 2.4GHz Star Network Transceiver Demoboard

Description

The AS3940 demoboard is a complete system that is ready to go right out of the box. It allows the user to easily evaluate the functionality of the AS3940 2.4GHz Star Network Transceiver. The kit is supplied with 2 demoboards (either of which can be configured as a master or a client), and an intuitive software GUI. The board has Easypoint sensor on board for use in the demonstration.

The GUI operates in two modes, “show mode” for a simple display of network operations or a more technical “expert mode” allowing the user access to all of the various register settings within the AS3940. No previous experience with network management protocol is required to operate the AS3940 demoboard system, which is a key value inherent to the AS3940 transceiver IC. Its built-in Link Manager handles all the complexities involved with it. Although the kit is shipped with 2 demoboards, the GUI and system is capable of supporting up to 8 clients with one master. The demoboards are powered by usb and if not connected, AAA battery can be also used to power the system.
